People believed “this was going to continue forever,” said Rick Watson, chief executive of RMW Commerce Consulting. Many thought, “We’re going to have this level of growth. People are going to want the tech-enabled solutions, they don’t care for these older solutions, because e-commerce is the future,” Watson said.
“I think that thinking has become a lot more measured in the last year,” he added.
