FujiFilm’s Instax Prints Out Your Mobile Photos Polaroid-Style
By SAM RUTHERFORD
Smartphones and social media have made it easier than ever before to send pictures to family and friends, but nothing can truly replace sharing a real photo. That’s where FujiFilm’s Instax Share Printer 2 comes in: the portable device connects to your smartphone over Wi-Fi and spits out instant photos like an old school Polaroid camera.
In practice, the $200 SP-2 couldn’t be easier to use. All you have to do is turn the printer on and connect to it to your phone like you would for any Wi-Fi network. Then you can use FujiFilm’s Instax Share app (available for free on iOS and Android) to print out a new pic, anything from your existing gallery, or something from a social media site such as Facebook, Instagram or Weibo.
